why open source ?

a couple of days back, i decided i would not add blog posts that say “nice video”. vod pod solved the problem with the vod pod widget, which is turning out to be really great. vod pod also has a new video feed reader kind of thingy which allows doing quite a few things including subscribing to other video pods, group sharing etc…

i have also seen people criticize other people who just post a link to another article and say “nice article”. after reading a couple of such posts, i thought i would not do such a thing. but, there is a great article articulating why we should use open source by JP Rangaswami.
